Flash and Findability

For many years I have given up on the idea that flash based web sites could be found through search engines. This is based on the fact that search engine robots cannot read flash based content. So, I am like there is nothing I could do about this right?!

As the title of the post suggests, online marketing is the process of promoting a product, a service, and/or a brand using the internet as the platform. This could be done by using e-mail campaigns, advertising on social networking sites, SEO techniques and W3C web standards.

Microformats

Lately, I’ve been hearing a buzz about “microformats” on the web and in class. When my teacher asked the class if we knew what microformats were, my mind drew a ….. ( blank). So now I’m wondering what they are. Microformats.org says ,microformats are,

“a set of simple, open data formats built upon existing and widely adopted standards.”
