My email campaign is about the return of a monthly hip -hop dance competition named Dance Invasion. After taking a break for the holiday months Dance Invasion is back with new talent, a new venue, and with more to offer such as free classes taught by up and coming choreographers.
Goals
This email campaign is used to bring attention towards Dance Invasion and its return. In the campaign there is one newsletter and one postcard emails both pertaining to the return of Dance Invasion.
Methods
In newsletter email campaign, Dance Invasion announces its return with a brief description on where the event will be held, when the event is going to start and a call out to come to the event.
The postcard email campaign is treated more like a flier that you would pass out to people to notify them about your event, in this case Dance Invasion. The postcard campaign contains a image that has the title of the event, the time and place of the event, a number to call for ticket information and directions to the venue.
The footer of both campaigns contain a physical address to the venue, there phone number, a link to forward the email to your friends and family and an unsubscribe link.
In creation of these campaigns I used to templates provided by MailChimp and edited the template to fit the design of the header image and postcard image.
